Tom Savage
Managing Director, Pro Football Public Relations

Tom Savage serves as Managing Director of Pro Football PR at U/S Sports Advisors. In this role, Savage works with NFL athletes, their representatives and the NFL team PR departments in coordinating off-the-field promotion and media attention. Savage has spent 16 years working in professional sports in both the NBA and the Indy Racing League. Savage has worked with many high-profile athletes and personalities such as Shaquille O'Neal, Kobe Bryant, Phil Jackson, Sheryl Swoopes, Ray Allen and Danica Patrick.

Savage has led prominent tours and public relations stunts in New York, Tokyo, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Dallas, Detroit and Miami. He also arranged for athlete appearances in national media outlets such as Late Night with David Letterman, Regis & Kelley, Good Morning America, The Today Show, CBS This Morning, The Jimmy Kimmel Show, ABC World News Tonight, CNN American Morning, People Magazine, Time Magazine, ESPN's Pardon the Interruption, Rome is Burning, SportsCenter, Sports Illustrated, USA Today, ESPN the Magazine and Newsweek.

Savage led the PR efforts for four different teams in the NBA including the Houston Rockets, Los Angeles Lakers, Indiana Pacers and Seattle SuperSonics. His expertise includes media for national events, having had responsible positions at The Indianapolis 500, NBA Finals, WNBA Finals, and MLB Playoffs.

Savage is the author of the book “Nothin' But a Champion,” the biography of four-time WNBA Coach of the Year and current head women's basketball coach at Louisiana State University, Van Chancellor.
